The Real Estate Development Managers are responsible for managing, deal making, and approving all market development on TransLink property and rights of way. There are two types of Real Estate Development Managers we are recruiting for.
Real Estate Development Manager, Surplus Properties: This role optimizes entitlements on TransLink “Surplus Properties,” a number of high profile, high value development properties throughout the Vancouver region. This role would manage the disposal or Joint Venture process including working with local land use authorities, and managing development partnerships with third parties.
Real Estate Development Manager, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) programme: TransLink’s world-renowned TOD programme (also called Adjacent & Integrated Development) currently has over 40 million square feet of planned and active development, with the volume of projects is increasing at a rapid pace. This role is responsible for managing assigned third-party development projects, ensuring that they are optimized operationally and financially, leading cross-enterprise teams, liaising with Municipal and Land Use Authorities, and managing complex relationships with private sector developers.
