Rick Vogel is a Partner with the firm. In addition to leading search assignments, he shares responsibilities for day-to-day operations of the Edmonton office and client development and management.

Rick holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to joining Davies Park, Rick spent 20 years in the financial services industry in both Canada and the United States. While in the U.S., Rick owned and operated, as President and Chief Executive Officer, a financial advisory company in South Florida. His experience in the areas of executive management and leadership, financial services, operational change management, marketing and staff management provides significant value and expertise to his role in executive recruitment.

Rick has led numerous senior leadership searches in municipal government, not-for-profit, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, advanced technology, real estate and finance. He has an expert ability to assess and evaluate each candidate’s personality, potential and pedigree, resulting in the right fit for each client organization.

Rick’s active community involvement has included the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation (Board of Trustees), the Centre Club (Board of Governors), Alberta Triathlon Association (Vice President) and the Minerva Foundation (Executive Board Member). He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.

Rick has represented Canada in two sports (track & field and triathlon) and continues to be active in cycling, swimming, running, triathlon and hockey.
