As a partner with Davies Park since 2000, Mike, and his partner Allan, are responsible for running the Calgary business. Mike is in charge of business development, client management and full execution of the search process.

Mike's combination of credentials, experience and personal characteristics make him uniquely qualified to conduct executive search. He is an experienced CMA who takes a big-picture view of business and executive leadership. He has a gift for building relationships—both with the business leaders he serves and the executives he recruits on their behalf. Mike has a particular enthusiasm for the "tough" assignments. In a field where a business's success or failure can ride on the outcome of it's work, finding an exceptional candidate after an extensive search is precisely what makes his job so rewarding.

Mike has led search assignments for executive and senior professionals in industries including energy, power, pipelines, manufacturing, high technology, retail, and real estate, as well as the public sector (including municipal and post-secondary). He also enjoys working with the non-profit sector, where his ongoing volunteer work with several organizations has kept him busy over the past 25 years.

Mike has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Personnel Certificate from the University of Calgary. He earned his CMA (Certified Management Accounting) designation in 1995 and was awarded a National Fellowship from the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA) in 2005. Prior to joining Davies Park, Mike worked in Financial Planning & Accounting and Human Resources over a 15-year period.

Mike is a passionate golfer, reader and amateur photographer. He has two smart daughters in University. He enjoys classical music, especially Beethoven and Jagger.
